Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor - Payroll Controller to join a very well established business based in the Crawley, West Sussex area.

The Payroll Supervisor will be part of the Payroll division, supporting the Payroll Managerand managing part of the payroll team.


Salary:
£40K


Location:
Crawley, West Sussex. Hybrid working - 3 days office based


Hours: 9-5.30


Payroll Supervisor duties include:


  • Supervise the Payroll Administrators
  • Support the Payroll Manager in the delivery of an accurate payroll
  • Checking calculations and input of other team members
  • Assist with the submission of HMRC RTI reporting
  • Support the Payroll Manager with payment of Taxes at the end of each payroll period and the payment of Class 1A NICs in respect of Benefits in Kind.
  • Produce and reconcile reports at the end of each payroll period for stakeholders.
  • Complete P11D reporting and childcare voucher assessments annually
  • Creating and sending BACS files
  • Importing new starters to the payroll, salary and cash allowances, and reconciling values with HR reports
  • Importing timesheet values to the payroll and reconciling values
  • Reconciling PAYE and completing payment paperwork
  • Supporting team members with dayto day queries

Skills and experience required:


  • Previous experience of supervising a team and proven Payroll experience inhouse
  • Manual calculations experience
  • Methodical, organised, and accurate
