Description

To plan and have lead responsibility for managing the education, training and development provision for Physician Associates (PAs) across the East Region (Fife, Lothian & Borders) promoting the profession by liaising with other regions and Scotland wide to enhance their contribution to patient care.

To establish and co-ordinate a comprehensive suite of internal and external learning opportunities to meet the requirements of PAs continual professional development in liaison with Scottish Government PA SLWG and NES teams as well as all internal and external stakeholders across health & social care.

To operate at a regional and national level and contribute to the development of central policy and practice in the field of PA education and development
