Payments and Cards Team Leader - Banking

London

£60,000 to £65,000 per annum plus fantastic bonus and benefits
Our client is a very successful bank who are going through a tremendous period of growth.

Due to exciting plans they are looking for a Payment Operations Team Leader for their digital banking platform.


You will be involved in a multi-faceted banking environment, managing payment processes domestically in the UK, internationally to and from the GCC, and card schemes and processing.

Ensuring successful execution of processes that contribute to the day-to-dayrunning of the Bank as well as working with the next generation of global payments infrastructure to help deliver a best-in-class payment experience for their customers.

Responsibilities will include;

  • UK domestic payment scheme process management
  • International payment scheme process management (Chaps and SWIFT)
  • Card payment scheme process management (MasterCard)
  • Transaction screening alert investigation
  • Daily Financial reconciliation processes
  • Management of overdrawn accounts
  • Aiding the mortgage process
  • Aiding Wealth management process
  • Resolving customer service queries
  • Working alongside fraud to investigate cases and raise chargebacks
  • Raising tickets and working alongside tech teams to resolve payment related issues
  • Supporting team development, activity management and upholding the Bank's PROUD values and contribute to a positive culture at the Bank
  • Experience working with all UK domestic payment schemes
  • Experience working with international payment schemes, such as SWIFT and Chaps
  • Card processing or management experience
  • Experience with Card service providers
  • MI reporting
  • Organized and strong attention to detail with a positive approach to challenges
  • Strong communicator and enjoy working collaboratively with your core team and wider stakeholders
  • Be able to assess and implement quickly as a start up our priorities change quickly so you need to be able to implement in a piecemeal approach
  • Experience working in multivendor environments is desirable having to work with multiple platforms to deliver outcomes across processes
