Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Technical Records Officer.

You will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of all aircraft is planned in accordance with the approved maintenance programme, as well as overseeing day-to-day tasks within the Technical Records and Planning department.

You will work closely with Line Maintenance providers, Heavy Maintenance providers, LMC, Technical Services, and Operations to ensure that the maintenance schedule is delivered based on aircraft availability.


Responsibilities:


  • Plan and schedule aircraft maintenance in compliance with Part-M, Part-CAMO, Part 145, the CAME, and other applicable regulations.
  • Transfer technical log defects to the computer defects log, including details of rectification action taken and any deferred defects.
  • Ensure information in completed worksheets and work packs is entered into the Approved Maintenance control computer system, and that aircraft status is current and out of phase items are communicated to the operator and noted in the tech log.
  • Develop and maintain the overall production planning system.
  • Manage and identify variation requests.
  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of data in the Approved Maintenance control computer system.
  • Liaise with other departments for maintenance of fleet aircraft, inclusion of additional work in checkpacks, and circulation to all concerned areas.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of planning experience, with comprehensive understanding of Part M/CAMO and Part 145, and UK National Requirements.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Ability to make good judgments based on company needs in a fastchanging environment.
  • Proven problemsolving, planning, and organizational skills.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Continuing Airworthiness Management organization as Planner engineer and Technical Records Controller.
  • Experience on B737 (or similar Boeing products) and/or ATR 42/7
  • Experience with 'Rusada Envision' or Trax maintenance software.

Salary:

- £43,000, changing to £45,000 after probation period
