Job Purpose:
As a Cheer and Dance Coach, your primary objective is to create a fun and inclusive environment where individuals of various skill levels can enjoy the thrill of cheerleading and dance.
Your role involves fostering a positive team atmosphere, promoting teamwork, and organising recreational events or showcases to showcase participants' achievements.
Through your guidance, you'll not only develop their physical abilities but also contribute to their personal growth, social connections, and overall enjoyment of the cheer and dance experience in a recreational setting.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Being responsible for the coaching, supervising, and training of designated groups of athletes of the United Cheer team
- Design and create engaging cheerleading and dance routines suitable for individuals of various skill levels.
- Ensuring the safety, welfare and wellbeing of United Cheer Team Participants
- Serving as a positive role model for participants, including exhibiting and promoting good sportsmanship
- Promptly reporting any problems to the Assistant Community Manager
- Attends meetings as required by Assistant Community Manager
- Working with the other Coaches/Chaperones/Participants to create a positive atmosphere
- Assist in solving any issues involving your designated group(s)
- Know and follow the policies and procedures for incidents/accidents
- Act as a key holder, ensuring the facility is opened up and locked securely during each session.
- Accurately report the attendance of all athletes
- Maintain open and transparent communication with athletes, coaching staff, parents
- Foster positive relationships with athletes, parents, and the wider community.
- Represent the United Cheer Team in a positive light at community events and functions.
- Oversee the coaching staff, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and a consistent coaching approach.
- Provide visionary leadership to the cheer and dance program, setting goals and strategies for both shortterm and longterm success.

Experience:
- Dance/cheerleading coaching: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Boston, Lincolnshire (required)
