**Clinical Specialist- Medical Devices**
Derby
_Full-time, permanent, on-site_
Your purpose is also to Increase product usage at existing accounts and expand the customer base through clinical education of new users to generate profitable growth.
_Key Responsibilities_
- Actively promote the full range of products.
- Understand and influence the customer decisionmaking process in order to lead to a successful conclusion.
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales, Product Development, Quality Control (QC), and Purchasing department as relevant
- Support New product development.
- To develop and update learning materials, ensuring clinical validity, and are appropriate for use in both UK and Export markets.
- Working in conjunction with new product development provide market research as required to demonstrate the viability of launching new products.
- Attend supplier meetings where clinical input is required.
- In conjunction with the Tender Department and Product Development Manager, look at areas of process improvement regarding the initial evaluation of tender specifications.
- Identify areas of development to ensure clinical skills are kept uptodate and relevant to new guidelines and practices.
- To review stock management reports and raise updates on any relevant issues.
- Ensure accurate completion of new product development, specification change and sample request forms.
- Ensure the correct procedure is followed when requesting products samples, taking into consideration financial and time implications.
- Develop and be responsible for obtaining signed and dated pack agreement forms for each new account that is not under tender contract conditions.
- To ensure full compliance and completion of correct documentation in line with Quality procedures for all complaints.
_Education / Qualifications / Skills_
- HCPC registered or NMC registered
- Diploma in Operating Department Practice
- Industryrelated experience, in a clinical setting e.g. ODP/HCA/Clinical technician/Theatre Nurse
- Clinical experience in the hospital/OR/ICU environment (preferred)
- Effective interpersonal skills, Comfortable in interacting with clinicians at a high level and a flair for developing customer relationships.
- Strong technical/clinical aptitude to understand, and train customers and users on products
