Your new company
A successful and innovative business services provider with a network of locations across the UK. Due to growth, they are now seeking to appoint a Procurement Manager / Category Manager to join the team. Based from their offices in Cannock, the role offerssignificant flexibility to work on a hybrid basis. The position will require some travel to other sites.

Your new role

Working in partnership with Senior Procurement Manager, The Procurement Manager / Category Manager will support the development and implementation of the category management strategy for facilities management and indirect services across multi-sites and locations.

The role will source potential suppliers, lead bid, tender and proposal processes, support supplier onboarding, and manage supplier performance and compliance.

The Procurement Manager / Category Manager will develop relationships with new suppliers ensuringcapability to deliver contract requirements, and that comply sustainability targets and and company values.


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful you will a Procurement Manager, Category Manager or Senior Buyer with previous experience of indirect services or facilities management procurement.

You will have experience of managing the bid cycle and the deliver of category strategies.
You will have strong stakeholder management experience, great communication skills and proven project management skills.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £45,000 to £55,000 plus car/car allowance and bonus.
