The role
As a Workshop Supervisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

You'll provide first line management to the shop floor, to ensure incoming work is planned and then manage the time and resource.


Day to day, you'll supervise between 5 and 12 members of staff, responsible for allocating work to staff and responsible for people management which includes monitoring absence, annual leave, performance management and coaching.

You'll also ensure that the vehicles are maintained and repaired to a high standard whilst motivating the team and developing them in line with business objectives.


  • Managing people in line with people related policies (e.g., starter/leaver, attendance/absence, flexi management, recognition, expenses/allowance claims, code of conduct, behavioural issues)
  • Managing demands for tooling/consumables/PPE ensuring teams have what they need while working within budgets and targets
  • Effectively communicating company and/or local information to team members ensuring messages are flowed down and received by front line team members

Essential experience of the Workshop Supervisor - Military Vehicles:

  • Ideally from an Automotive or Mechanical Engineering background
This is a full-time role based on site in Donnington.


Qualifications for the Workshop Supervisor - Military Vehicles:

  • NVQ IN Vehicle maintenance and repair
