Junior Import Clearance Clerk
Office based role

Location:
Stallingborough

Salary:
£18k-£20k (dependant on experience)

Hours:
Mon-Fri

Grafton Recruitment are working on behalf of a successful, leading company in Stallingborough who are recruiting for a Import Clearance Clerk.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who would like to embark on a career within logistics, gaining experiencewithin the Import sector.

The role:

Providing current and potential clients with quotations
Communication with external and internal stakeholders
Accurate data entry
Liaising with importers/exporters and others to obtain mandatory information for import and export entries
Involved in the day to day import clearance activities

You will need:

To communicate efficiently and express your ideas clearly and confidently at all levels verbally, in print and via the telephone
1year experience in Import is desirable, not essential
Time Management, ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks and working to deadlines
Drive and determination
Commercial Awareness, ability to understand the commercial realities affecting the organisation
IT Literate
Excellent attention to detail
