Teaching Assistant

Salary:
£75- £85per day

Starting date:
Immediately

Location:
Hexham

Essential for the role

  • Experience in a care or school or college setting
  • SEN experience if possible including any of the following ASD, SEMH, Nonverbal, PMLD, MLD, visual impairment
  • Great rapport builder, calm, kind and proactive
  • The ability to help with academic work and tasks in a patient way
  • The ability to support alternative timetable activities
  • Excellent deescalation skills
  • An enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the update service or be prepared to go through the process with GSL Education
  • Availability for at least six months
  • Great team working and excellent communication skills
