    Capacity Planning Manager, ATS, Amazon Freight Partner

    As a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager at Amazon, you'll be an expert in diving into our business data and presenting it in a clear, useful way. You'll use it to help teams across our logistics function make lasting improvements and remain ambitious and inventive. This role will give you opportunities to learn, grow and drive efficiency across Amazon.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Develop and implement Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) growth strategy
    2. Create partner profitability models and scenarios beyond core capacity growth
    3. Establish flex demand allocation tenets and hold operations accountable to deliver the plan
    4. Build a tractor utilization management model and identify opportunities to improve tractor utilization
    5. Analyze data around key performance indicators (KPIs) to generate forward-looking plans for senior stakeholders in the Operations business
    6. Design visualization tools and dashboards to analyze and create reports for your team to drive action around KPIs
    7. Develop or improve internal dashboards to provide colleagues with better visibility of task-related data

    A Day in the Life

    You'll use your analytical skills and business acumen to help your team achieve their objectives. You'll use data to illustrate problems and share your ideas to find solutions.

    About the Team

    Amazon couldn't deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you'll join a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, you'll help Amazon's transport run at maximum efficiency.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Bachelor's degree
    2. Proven experience working in an analytical role, driving business strategy and growth using strategy, operational knowledge, and analytical skills
    3. Experience analyzing large data sets, data quality, and data warehousing to identify improvement opportunities
    4. Experience creating dashboards using Excel, SQL, Quicksight, and visualization tools

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Advanced or master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or another technical field
    2. Experience working with Operational, Supply Chain, or Logistics teams
    3. Proficiency in Tableau, SQL, Python, VBA, Power BI
