We are recruiting for a
Consultant level Procurement specialist to join our team and be a part of our ambitious growth plans for 2023 as we partner with key clients such as HS2, Network Rail, Port of Dover and many more.


In this role you will work across the full lifecycle of highly complex infrastructure projects to support the delivery of strategic goals by building value adding supply chains with sustainable commercial relationships.

A typical day could include

  • Provide commercial support and decisionmaking across contracts and manage those contracts to ensure that they deliver the strategic objectives of the project throughout the term of the agreement and deliver demonstrable value for money.
  • Support the delivery of strategic goals by building value adding supply chains with sustainable commercial relationships that deliver value and comply with obligations set out in the Development Agreement and any associated Undertakings and Assurances.
  • Negotiate Commercial Agreements with third parties, coordinating interfaces and integrating across contracts and suppliers.
  • Support procurements through the procurement lifecycle stages from identifying the business need to contract award drawing on internal and external resources as required.
  • Deliver procurement and related activity in compliance with EU and UK procurement legislation, applicable government policies and procurement routes, ensuring compliance.

About You:


What we are looking for in our next team member

  • Ideally you will be HNC, HND or Degree qualified in a Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Construction Law, or similar / relevant discipline. Procurement knowledge gained as part of a Commercial Apprenticeship would be highly advantageous.
  • Professional qualifications and/or membership of the RICS, CIOB, CICES, CIPS or another relevant Chartered Institute are desirable, and will be supported if not already attained.
  • Experience and Knowledge of procurement within the public sector/regulated sector.
  • Experience of compiling procurement documentations including tender and commercial documents whilst maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • A passion for infrastructure, sustainability and delivering great work.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly with colleagues and clients.
