Plumber - Water Treatment

Alecto Recruitment are currently representing a leading provider of water treatment solutions based in Hertfordshire, who are looking to appoint a Water Treatment Remedial Plumber with a shared vision to assist in the growth of the business.

As a leading provider in water treatment for the control of legionella bacteria, the company specialise in the monitoring of water systems for some pestigous clients in the Hertfordshire and local area, and as such the successful applicant will be joininga family run business as part of a fun, focused and forward-thinking team in a full-time permanent position.

The Role:

As Water Treatment Remedial Plumber, you will undertake plumbing installation/update works and water hygiene/water treatment works as per the needs of the Service & Maintenance Department, in accordance with agreed schedules/scopes, ensuring full compliancewith relevant standards, codes of practice and legislation.

Working mainly in commercial buildings including but not exclusively; schools, factories, healthcare premises and multi-occupancy buildings.

Responsibility will include upholding Health and Safety standards and ensure that codes of practice are always observed, whilst maintaining a professional image of the Company at all times.

Water Treatment Engineers/Remedial Plumbers work across the Hertfordshire and London areas only.

Successful applicants will have a minimum NVQ level 2/3 Plumbing, including sealed systems, with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
Must have good IT skills and be adept in the use of Microsoft Office 2007 or later, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
Full current clean UK driving license.
Ideally have experience/knowledge of Legionella control (ACoP L8 HSG. 274, parts 1, 2 & 3 HSG 282), though thorough training will be provided.
You may be required to travel and work throught Hertfordshire and London areas.

Package:

- £28,000 - £35,000 per annum basic salary
