We are looking to expand our core team of tutors. We are looking for motivated people with solid grades in maths and English.Our programmes have a great selection of materials and tools to assist our students to overcome educational challenges but we need great role models that can support our students in an engaging and motivating way.

Hours
From 20 hours a week - including some school holidays (potential to increase)

Essential Requirements:
- A Level or equivalent essential
- GCSE grade 79 in maths, English literature and English language
- Available to work on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
Responsibilities:
Support children and young people to overcome maths and English challenges
- Patiently help students go through the materials set for them
- Explain various maths and English competencies through engaging methods
- Assist in conducting student assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Carefully observe student competence, paying close attention to detail
- Regularly mark student work and provide useful feedback for student development
- Identify and develop materials that support student development
- Record student progress
- Help set student class work and homework
- Help, plan, deliver and supervise field trips
Maintain a safe and encouraging learning environment
- Prepare and pack up classes within health and safety guidelines
- Adhere to safeguarding guidance and good practice
Provide a high level of customer service
- Behave as a role model for our students
- Provide academic advice and guidance
- Be approachable to students and parents seeking your support
- Resolve enquiries to customer satisfaction, ensuring parents and students leave our centre feeling satisfied with our classes and service
