We have a fantastic opportunity for a
Commercial
Account Handler to join our Real Estate team, part of the Commercial team located in our Manchester offices.


This is the perfect role for someone with a strong background in Commercial insurance, preferably in Property / Real Estate Broking, looking to develop their skills further within a Global Market Leader.


Knowledge and experience of Property Owners insurance is essential, ideally ranging from individual premises to sizeable client portfolios including both Commercial and Residential premises.

Working knowledge and placement experience of OCIP Construction Projects would also be advantageous.

This role will also offer hybrid working, with an expectation of 3 days per week spent in the office.

What you will be rewarded with?

We will rely on you to:

  • Work with Account Executives to retain and generate new business, by leveraging strategy information and managing contract reviews and midterm changes.
  • Strive to meet sales goals by partnering with Account Executives
  • Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
  • Manage all day to day queries, renewals, amendments and midterm adjustments
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
  • Perform critical client functions, including: evaluating risks; reviewing loss experience, cash flow and financials; developing solutions; articulating impact of options; leveraging prepared analytics and making recommendations to client across product lines.
  • Serve as a client contact for daytoday needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
  • Maintains a detailed understanding of changing market conditions and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients

What you need to have:


  • Commercial Insurance is essential however that can be from a Handler or Underwriting background
  • Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment
  • Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities

What makes you stand out:


  • Cert CII qualification
  • Working proficiency of Acturis is preferred, however not essential as training can be provided
