Description

Provision of support to staff of all levels, in all aspects of Information Governance, by providing advice and guidance in all aspects related to Information Governance and Data Protection.

Manage the Information Asset Management and Flow Mapping program of work within the Trust to enable compliance with statutory, mandatory and good information governance practice.
Manage the evidence gathering for the Data Security and Protection Toolkit to ensure assurances are met
Supporting staff across the Trust with all IG incidents, including presenting serious incidents to Incident Review Panel and handling ICO reported incidents and complaints. Providing incident report to committee
Manage the delivery of Information Governance training across the Trust and where applicable, develop and implement training sessions and awareness materials in respect to Information Governance.
To be confident with all requests for information such as Subject Access Requests (SAR) and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests by supporting the IG and FOI Administrator and operational teams.
Responsible for the management, reporting and compliance of the FOI workstream.
