South Coast Home Care are a domiciliary care provider who started in Chichester but have recently opened a fully refurbished office in Littlehampton where carers can park right outside

Due to this expansion, we are looking for bank, part or full time carers to join the team in the Littlehampton area, where we already have an established customer base, supporting customers to remain independent in their own home.

We encourage flexible working and encourage anyone to apply, even if they are only looking for a few hours per week.

On the other side we can offer a full time contract and there is also the option to pick up overtime at very healthy rates (detailed below.)

We offer in house training in our Chichester office and training is paid for.

Experience in care is not essential just a positive approach and a willingness to really care for our customers

Benefits of the role include:

Hourly pay at £11.48 in the week and £12.25 at weekends
Additional 20p on weekly rate if you do not go off sick in the month.
Mileage paid at 45p per mile
Paid travel time
Welcome incentive of £100 after 1 month in post.
Overtime rates starting at £16 per hour for first four hours of shift, then £20 for next two hours then £22 from there...
Full paid shadowing and training programme.
We ask for some availability every other weekend but this is prorata'd on the amount of hours you work so e.g. if you are part time you would not be expected to work a whole weekend every other
Uniform and coat provided
We put the team in one area for the shift wherever possible
