Logistic Administration:
Carlisle Part-time or Full Time - Permanent Position Salary: negotiable.


Stead McAlpin is a family run contract print Textile manufacturing business that has been making luxury Textiles since 1835 based in Cumbria.

We pride ourselves on professionalism and attention to detail.

Our customers include individual designers, high end interior companies and couture fashion houses, high street stores, department stores and start-up businesses all over the world.

we are looking for a Logistic administrator, to operate within a busy warehouse, coordinating dispatch of our quality product.

Full training will be given.

Previous experience within a manufacturing/production environment would be an advantage.

Successful applicants must be enthusiastic and motivated with a strong work ethic and an excellent timekeeping and attendance record. They must also be prepared to work overtime when this is available.

Full training will be given. on the operating procedure.

Fork lift truck license would be beneficial,

Must be enthusiastic and motivated with a strong work ethic and an excellent timekeeping and attendance record.

  • Ensure deadlines are met ,
- computer literacy,
- ability to communicate with customers and suppliers,
- import and export duties required,

  • Ensure Quality Control Procedures are adhered to ,
  • All dispatched and returned goods are recorded accurately
  • Be flexible and assist the production.
  • Work in a team environment and have the willingness to work cross functionally.
