This role is based in the United Kingdom and as such all normal working days must be carried out in the United Kingdom.
- We'll need you to help with providing coverage for capital markets, bilateral financing, solutions and risk management products across relevant segments
- Your clients will include insurers and asset managers and you'll support the delivery of transactions to a targeted client base

What you'll do:
Our Private Financing Sales (PFS) team is focused on originating private lending and bilateral financial transactions, through the deployment of NatWest Market's (NWM) balance sheet, and has good relationships across European financial institutions and with financial sponsors.
Acting as an associate in the UK Sponsors team in PFS, you'll support salespeople with their clients to deliver a One Bank service.
To do this, you'll liaise with structuring and trading teams to facilitate deals and become the face of our bank to global sponsors.
You'll also be responsible for:
- Distributing and syndicating risk into the NWM client base through different ways, including the significant risk transfer placement, coinvestments and good partnerships
- Working with private financing product teams to deliver client offerings across funding, asset and liability management, repo and risk transformation, lending and advisory activities
- Helping the Private Financing Sales team with NWM clients and our portfolio and balance sheet optimisation across all legacy and newlyoriginated assets
- Assisting with liquidity management, funding, structuring and placements, while supporting NMW to provide customer service to the clients you cover in the transaction lifecycle
The skills you'll need:
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a self-starter and understand how to create and maintain relationships with other product and coverage teams across our bank.
You'll also need:
- An understanding of how to engage with internal stakeholders and clients
- Good organisational skills and knowledge of how to book calls and meetings, process nondisclosure agreements and onboard know your customer processes
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills to onboard new clients, track customer appetite and to manage spreadsheets and pipelines
