The opportunity
QBE EO is about to embark on a journey of growth in Data and Analytics through the development of a new Data Culture function, as part of the Data Centre of Excellence, with a focus to develop a data-driven mindset across the organisation.
The aspiration is to build a Data Academy to improve data literacy and develop a robust communications plan to engage with stakeholders on all things data.
As such, we are looking for an experienced Data Culture & Communications Lead to join the Data Centre of Excellence where you will be responsible for developing and driving the Data Culture Strategy and building a Data Academy for QBE EO to improve data literacy.
In this newly created role, you will work with the Director of Data, leadership and our People team to define, build and communicate our data capability uplift, data team organisational structures, job profiles and roles and responsibilities.
You will also assess and articulate the desired learning pathways across the business, such as for data communities, leadership teams and the wider EO community.
Your new role- Partner with key stakeholders to create, consult, influence and shape effective employee communications plans and content that is measurable in terms of adding value to drive employee engagement, linked to business objectives- Support the Director of Data to strategically shape and support the implementation of the Data communications strategy and plans for QBE EO;- Lead on shaping, influencing, and creating, together with stakeholders, creative and innovative employee communication campaigns based on best practice and data-led insights to help drive employee engagement- Listen, question, lead, and consult to influence to drive best practice employee communications with senior stakeholders from presentations (virtually and in-person), script-writing/talking points, key messages, etc- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements and assist in the timely delivery of communication engagement solutions- Lead on the design, delivery and coordination of Data Culture in line with business and organisational needs regularly monitoring progress and measuring impact i.e.
About you- Robust knowledge of developing data management fundamentals, data governance and master data management- Significant experience with data culture strategy planning / communication planning- Proven analytical and storytelling skills.
