Lovely opportunity for 2 people to live and work at Green Island Gardens.


The roles will include for one, housekeeping, welcoming visitors to the gardens, serving in the tearoom, preparing light lunches, marketing the business, managing bookings for the gardens and our airBnB properties and running events.

In quieter months there would be housekeeping duties and help with gardening. They would also be overseeing extra helpers during the busy summer months.


For the other it will be mostly gardening and handyman duties, but occasional help in the tearoom and garden entrance will be required as well.

Experience with all types of garden machinery is vital

We offer a cottage within the grounds on which we will pay all the bills except the electric.


Both people must be energetic, have horticultural experience/knowledge, have a good sense of humour and enjoy working as part of a small team.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£20.00-£25.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus
