Ford and Slater are one the UK's largest DAF Truck dealers group with 16 locations from Norwich to Birtley in the North East, employing over 850 staff whilst remaining a family run business.

We currently have an exciting position as a Commercial Vehicle Painter / Prepper in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks depot in Leeds.

Who are we looking for:

You will have previous experience working as a Commercial Vehicle Painter / Prepper within the HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV or an associated sector.
The ability to work to a high standard and demonstrate a good knowledge of Paint Spraying and Prepping.
A keen eye for detail.
Selfmotivated and able to work on your own initiative.

The Commercial Vehicle Painter / Prepper responsibilities include (but not limited to)**:

You will prepare vehicles / panels to be sprayed or re-sprayed, including stripping, small filling, masking, fitting new panels and rebuilding.

If required you will mix paints to ensure a perfect match. Complete job cards. Ensure a safe workplace environment. Working Mon to Fri, 8am-4:30pm (overtime available)

£12.00-£16.00 per hour
