We are based in Sheffield South Yorkshire and have been operating as Specialists in Mobile Plant and Plant Machinery for 10 Years.

We have recently expanded services providing transport/haulage.

We are actively looking for a enthusiastic and confident Sales Representative to join our sales team.

We are looking for excellent communication skills/ a telephone manner and a driven/ determined, self-motivated individual, with a minimum of 7 years experience in sales role.

Main responsibilities of the role are:

• Maintaining excellent working relationships with existing customers
• Building and maintaining a steady growth of new customers
• Identify prospects, set appointments with potential new customers
• Quoting prices to customers as and when required
• Identifying and developing improvements to your customer area
• Forward planning for business need

This is not an exhaustive list and you are required to be flexible in your approach to carrying out your duties which may change time to time in order to reflect business need or for the company's continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 7 years experience in sales role
• Good communication skills
• Good standard of numeracy and literacy
• IT literate

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Transport and route planning
• Experience in abnormal loads/heavy loads and transportation of plant (diggers, excavators, loading shovels, etc)
• Knowledge of transport legislation
• Knowledge of the plant maintenance & repairs industry
