Base Salary £45,000 - £60,000 OTE £80K NEG DOE

Due to growth plans a well established manufacturer and global player is looking to appoint a Key Account Manager responsible for the Components area of their business.


Key scope of work summary

  • Responsibility for incoming orders and sales for a defined group of customers in the sales segment as well as new customer acquisition
  • New business devlopment as well as growing exisiting accounts
  • Independent planning and implementation of acquisition, conditions and contracts with customers
  • Responsibility for pricing and maximising earnings in coordination with Competence Centres and the line manager
  • Collection of customer / market / competition information to expand the strategic business fields
  • Systematic development of the key accounts and exploitation of the market potential
  • Presentation of the company to customers as well as at trade fairs and other events
  • Annual sales planning at customer and product level
  • Responsibility for the regular comparison of the planned incoming orders as well as for measures in the event of deviations

Essential Experience

  • 3 years + experience within a similar role
  • Demobntrable track record of delivering new business wins
  • Proven track record of succesful account growth, customer relationship management / development and excellent presentation skills are essential to this role
  • Industry experience in Composites within Defence, Aerospace or Industrial market sectors
  • Excellent presentation and client facing skillls
