About the role:


You will be at the heart of our night time operation, providing overnight supervision, and health and safety and security of our guests, team members and the building during the night.


You will:

  • Keep the Group Manager and Duty Manager informed on a regular basis and report any incidents you deal with or involve in during the night clearly and accurately, including accidents, incidents, complaints. Also, report any needs for repairs or maintenance to the appropriate department or management ensuring the proper paperwork is carried out.
  • Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with night duty checklists such as handling night cashup, bed plans, laundry duties, nightly cleaning, security walks around the hostel and preparing the dining room for breakfast service.

Ideally suitable applicant will have:


  • Worked successfully in a customerfacing role, preferably in similar hospitality surroundings with commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent, confident communication skill and ability to work as team and without supervision.
  • Experience in dealing with fire evacuation procedures.
  • Keen attention to details.
  • Flexible, 'cando' attitude and adaptable approach to work to changing workload and priorities during busy times to support colleagues.
You will be part of a relatively small close knit team.
