Salary £30,000 - £34,000 per annum pro rata.

Cheshire Cardiology is an independent provider of Specialist services in Veterinary

Cardiology operating from a brand new facility in Castle, Cheshire in the North West
England (close to the M6, Liverpool, Manchester and North Wales).

We are seeking a part-time practice administrator to join our growing team as we launch our new referral centre. You will work with three RVNs, a student nurse, a Specialist in veterinary cardiology and two interns.

Duties are to include:

Processing pet insurance claims and payments.
Organising practice open days and CPD events.
Overseeing developments to the practice.
Helping with the practice social media accounts.
Performing client care duties on reception when required and helping coordinate referral appointments.
Weekly fire safety checks.
Organising inspections by the VMD, RPA, health and safety plus fire risk assessments.
Being the lead point of contact for pet insurance claims and queries.
Organising and minuting team meetings.
Point of contact for booking student placements, meeting and greeting visitors.
Undertaking additional administrative duties on behalf of the Director as required.
Line managing the assistant team, including reviews for all staff members.
Improving and developing nonclinical SOPs.
Help with staff recruitment and organising staff events.
Overseeing stock ordering.
