About the role
Avalere Health is seeking a full-time Consulting Marketing Intern, ideally with a university background in life sciences/healthcare or marketing. The internship would be suitable for an ambitious individual who is keen to learn more about what this fantastic industry has to offer


The Consulting Marketing Intern will be part of a small team, working on all aspects of our business development and digital marketing, along with supporting other key Group Marketing activities including branding, advertising, analytics, and lead analysis.

This internship will be positioned within the Consulting capability of Avalere Health but will also include close collaboration with with our Group Marketing and Corporate Communications team.

Our Consulting capability is composed of teams across six areas of expertise:
Early-Stage Strategy

Go To Market

Brand Experience and Engagement

Performance Optimization


Each of these teams possess a core set of expertise and skills that differentiates them, and they can work separately or come together to deliver on client needs.

Understanding this complexity and communicating it and its value to potential and existing clients will be a key part of this role.


The Consulting Marketing Intern will also provide support on the marketing plan for Avalere Health's Consulting capability, to drive awareness and new business leads for the team.

**What you'll do


Project Management:

Support with managing projects and Business Development initiatives from start to completion.

Developing creative briefs and briefing in internal teams.

Booking and managing internal resources.


Digital Marketing:

Support with creative campaigns that meet Avalere Health's business goals, driving awareness, and lead generation.

Support in tracking lead scoring, prioritization, and analysis of incoming leads.

Involvement with Lead creation, monitoring, and optimization of sponsored LinkedIn campaigns and Google PPC campaigns.

**Business Development: Monitor the landscape of the pharma, biotech, and healthcare industries to identify trends and future opportunities that Avalere Health Consulting can become involved in. Coordinate, where applicable, with specific individuals within each area of expertise who are responsible for landscape monitoring in their areas.


Supporting the Growth/Business Development team in Consulting, to develop marketing initiatives and assets that raise awareness of the Consulting capability offering.

This may include content marketing, congress/event opportunities, thought leadership, and media and partnership opportunities.


Support the wider Business Development team with sales collateral, including Consulting capability case studies, credential decks, profiles, and service offerings, ensuring our Consulting teams have the appropriate materials for new business initiatives.
