Description

A new opportunity has arisen for a Sea Freight Import Operator to join our client, an international Logistics company based in Chelmsford.

As the Sea Freight Import Operator, you will be dealing with all Seafreight Import activities from start to finish.
You will be arranging deliveries / releases and quoting clients for shipments.

Other duties of the Sea Freight Import Operator:

  • Ensure all Consignments are loaded onto computer system prior to arrival / departure
  • Keep customers fully informed of anything which may cause delay to a shipment
  • Develop constructive relationships with key customers and key supplier
  • Liaising with customers, dealing with all followups
  • Invoicing shipments and collecting payments


The successful Sea Freight Import Operator will have start to finish Sea Freight Import experience or have been working as a Seafreight Import Operator / Import Clerk / Import Coordinator, etc.
