  • What do we do?_
Here at PPM, we carry out a variety of maintenance and construction work across our PPM divisions. We provide services for social housing clients as well as private clients.

Our work ranges from general maintenance, installing safety features and aid adaptions, full refurbishments on residential properties to complete construction of commercial buildings.


  • What does this role entail?_

The key responsibilities include:

  • Lead a team of reactive maintenance operatives and allocate work on a daily basis
  • Attend preinspection works and advise operatives on job specifics
  • Attend postinspection works and inspect operatives' workmanship
  • Ensure large Multitrade jobs are booked in by the scheduling team and are checked to clarify what trades and timeframes are required and if a preinspection is needed
  • Deal and respond effectively for variation requests highlighted by the operative adhering to the appropriate client rules and procedures
  • What experience is needed for this role?_

The key experience required is:

  • Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge of various trades including joinery, building, plumbing
  • Previous supervisory experience ideally from a social housing/residential field
  • The ability to effectively manage a team of reactive maintenance operatives, coaching and advising on the best working practices
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Works well under pressure
  • Full UK driving licence

Salary:
£31,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
