Manage and oversee the fulfilment of the scheduled services within the allocated Ardonagh Group Carrier Management contracts, whilst always aligning to our core principle of acting in the best interests of our original clients/end customers.

Building relationshipsthroughout the Carrier organisation (s) at every level to ensure optimised traction and business understanding through the contracted schedule of services, and into the Ardonagh Group.


Purpose of the Role:


  • Manage the contract fulfilment and service delivery for the allocated Carrier Management Insurers.
  • Have a deep and qualified understanding of business strategy, underwriting appetite, and capabilities of both the Carriers and the Ardonagh business.
  • Fulfil stewardship of our relationships with relevant carriers, internally and externally.
  • In conjunction with our data and operational teams, deliver performance analytics and service as defined in the Carrier Management contracts.
  • Engage with the development of our Carrier Management value proposition, alongside supporting innovation in products, services and propositions, both internally and to carriers as part of the services provided.
  • Sales activities related to our Carrier Service Agreements, new business, renewal of existing agreements, or cross sell of Ardonagh services.
  • Act as an early warning system, both internally and within the Carrier client to be the person of contact to deal with issues and strategic placement changes
  • Be an advocate for helping the Carrier client navigate Ardonagh, understand structure and strategy including growth / sales strategy.

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Proven track record in a similar role
  • Excellent understanding of the market, carrier management and delivery.
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to deliver to strict timeframes
  • Ability to selfmotivate, can think around problems, being creative and resourceful, able to prioritise and work under pressure.

Person Specification:


  • Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
  • Fully proficient in Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to present clearly, translating concepts and information in a manner that is appropriate and accessible to all levels
  • Demonstrate a cando attitude, selfmotivated with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

Be creative and resourceful to think round and resolve problems

  • Ability to work as part of a broader team.
