What You'll Do


As the Product Designer on the User Experience and Product Design team, you will directly impact the vision and mission of helping students succeed by creating user-centered experiences across Ready Education's portfolio of products.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with product managers, software developers, other designers, users, and business stakeholders to design exceptional user experiences
  • Use a variety of methods to communicate and iterate on designs, including sketches, information architecture maps, process and interaction flows, user task analysis, wireframes, storyboards, visual design mockups, and high fidelity prototypes
  • Work with a crossfunctional agile team by taking part in Scrums, Sprint Planning and other collaborative team rituals
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of designs and guide the interactive design of the UI through the development process
  • Oversee validation testing of designs and ideas
  • Standardize UI components and contribute to development of Ready Education's component library
  • Continuously improve the product design and development process, incorporating lessons learned and best practices
  • Exhibit a passion for creating great user experiences and a mentality of 'users first'

What We're Looking For

  • 3 years or more of experience as a product designer or UX/UI designer working on web and native mobile app products
  • Knowledge of Design Systems and their role in building products
  • Have a usercentric approach to problemsolving and user testing, with experience conducting user research and voice of the customer activities to understand the needs of users and to verify designs
  • Experienced with design tools like Figma and Sketch
  • Experience working on a crossfunctional, agile team
  • Online portfolio showcasing published digital products and interactive design projects
  • Fluent in English

Added Plus

  • Experience working with (B2B/ B2B2C) SaaS Product Design
  • Experience in a high growth, fastpaced, startup environment
  • Knowledge of accessibility design principles, emerging standards, and evaluation tools
