    Job Description

    The Role of the Risk Analyst

    In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing risk management practices across various business units. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement robust risk strategies and ensuring they align seamlessly with corporate objectives.

    This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside a talented team of professionals, reporting directly to the Head of Risk. The position is based in London, allowing for diverse perspectives and expertise to come together and drive success.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Risk Management Coordination

      2. You will be responsible for coordinating between different business units and functions to ensure the effective implementation of comprehensive risk management strategies.

    2. Second-Line Oversight Enhancement

      3. Support the improvement of second-line risk oversight by gaining a deep understanding of significant risks within various business and functional units.

    3. ORSA Processes and Reporting

      4. Contribute to the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) processes, delivering quarterly reports that provide valuable insights into risk indicators and metrics.

    4. Risk Management Oversight

      5. Oversee risk management activities and assist with other risk management projects as needed, driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization.

    Requirements

    1. Insurance Expertise

      2. A solid understanding of insurance products, services, and associated regulatory regimes is essential for this role.

    2. Quantitative Analysis

      3. Ability to collect, review, and analyze quantitative data, conduct interpretation and impact assessments of key risk indicators, and/or metrics.

    3. Collaborative Team Player

      4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and flexibly within a team environment, fostering open communication and cooperation.

    4. Education

      5. A degree-level qualification or equivalent is required for this position.
