We currently have 2 positions available for this retail store

Days and Evenings - 21+ hours per week. Varied shift patterns.

An exciting opportunity has opened up at Shell Blackcat. We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Individual to join our retail team in a secure permanent position. You must be well motivated and dedicated to providing excellent levels of customer service.
You must be willing to be challenged, work hard and be committed to the role during your working hours.

The position will require you to work in a demanding and fast paced environment which will necessitate you to work well under pressure.

The successful applicant will join a successful team of people who are striving to be the best within our field.

Personal progression and opportunity for learning and development of your skill sets will be readily available for those who join us.

The hours can be flexible and are set out on a fortnightly or monthly roster; the role is very much suitable to most people's needs.

The role of the Customer Service Champion

  • Maintain a high level of customer service
  • Ensure you comply with strict Health and Safety regulations
  • Drive sales and loyalty scheme
  • Provide high level of cleanliness, POS compliance and stock availability throughout the store
  • Maintain busy Costa machine & hot sweet and savoury food
  • Strong shift management and controls of monies
  • Follow strict security procedures on site
  • Deal with deliveries of stock, fuel and reps who visit site

  • Skill set to communicate with clarity and honesty and being able to adapt your style for different people or different situations.
  • Highly motivated
  • Desire to be successful and do well
  • Great customer service skills or historical evidence of
  • Excellent punctuality

  • Capability to problem solve and use initiative
  • Proactive and have a flexible approach
A successful applicant will undergo full training with our head trainer.

This will be over a 2 week course which will include 121 based learning on the job and also online training through our retail learning portal.
