Mercia

Group is one of the leading providers of training and support services to the UK accountancy profession, working with over 8000 firms nationwide and they are part of the Wilmington T&E division.

Main Purpose of Role:


You will be part of a team that focuses on the organisation and production of our training events & media.


Specialising in the production & maintenance of our online training library content, you will work alongside others to deal with any issues that arise and ensure that all events/content are a success.

You will also be integral in ensuring all communications are sent as required to our internal and external support network.


Responsibilities:


  • Administration and running of accountancy and tax course programmes, for a portfolio of national events & online digital content.
  • Production of recorded webinars. Editing "live" video recordings & adding postproduction techniques to create high quality ondemand webinars.
  • Maintaining our file servers & content libraries.
  • Publishing content to our website.
  • Assisting with the production & maintenance of E-Learning modules.
  • Reviewing processes and procedures to continually improve.


Delivering a key contribution to the development of the business and ensuring that Mercia's training is always of the highest quality.

Skills and Experience Required:


We always support colleagues to develop their skills but to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to tick most of these boxes...

Expectations:


  • You must be able to work on your initiative.
  • A strong team member who can support others with tasks.
  • You must demonstrate that you can work in a fastpaced environment and to strict delivery deadlines.
  • Be able to communicate efficiently with clients and external suppliers, including dealing with difficult conversations.
  • Experienced in digital media with the ability to multitask.

The skills required:


  • Strong English skills, backed by the relevant qualification(s)
:

GCSE, Key Skills or Functional Skills.

  • Strong ICT skills and exposure to different systems.
  • Ability to negotiate with others and seek resolutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with mínimal supervision. This is important as the teamwork in a hybrid office/home environment.
  • Exceptionally well organised and able to plan independently.
  • Experience in Articulate RISE is desirable
