We're looking for a Sub Agent to join our Kier Rail team and help deliver a project in Newcastle.

Location:
Newcastle - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Contract:
Full Time, Permanent - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

What will your responsibilities be?
Kier Rail division design and build a wide range of rail infrastructure projects for a diverse customer base.

Our projects range from major improvements to complete construction of new stations, with specialist teams, we manage complex works from conception through to handover.

As a Sub Agent, you'll be working within the Kier Rail team supporting them with the design and build of a new station in Newcastle.

Your day to day will include:

Support the Project Manager in managing the project.
Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier and Network Rail/ Nexus standards.
Support the Project Manager with cost management of the project, ensuring robust control of subcontract cost, actual costs, and forecasts through commercial awareness.
Ensure all labour, plant, materials, and supply chain resources are accurately recorded.
Create a programme to plan and measure the weekly/ monthly lookahead.

What are we looking for?
This role of Sub Agent is great for you if:

Relevant qualifications
degree level, or equivalent experience
SMSTS Site Manager
Knowledge and experience of the main management systems and processes used within a similar business, preferably in the Rail Sector.
