Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Deputy Head of Accommodation Services to work with one of our clients in Kent.

What the job will be doing

To manage through the Accommodation Services Teams, the student journey, ensuring excellent student experience from initial accommodation inquiry through to allocation, arrival, the students stay, and then their departure. Working in conjunction with otherwith other Departments to achieve this.
Raise the profile of the departments and through attending networking events, exhibitions, open days/evenings (covering for the Head of AS and work with local competitors and partners on local business and student needs.
To further develop electronic processes and procedures, including leading on regularly reviewing all procedures and systems in use for Accommodation Services, seeking efficiencies and robust procedures and keeping up to date with industry technology
To operationally manage the Accommodation Teams to deliver a proactive customer service culture and to deliver a consistent and quality service, whilst looking for improved working practices and synergies wherever possible.

What you will need

Degree or HND, ideally in Accommodation, Facilities Management or equivalent management qualification.
Business Development and revenue maximisation.
Staff recruitment and development.
Demonstrate high level financial awareness.
Knowledge of appropriate legislation.
