The Client
My Client is a leading privately owned Corporate Networking Events Company.

Due to expansion and experiencing record growth across the event portfolio, they are now looking to appoint a Director of Event Operations to spearhead the running of live business-to-businessevents both in the UK & Abroad.

The Role

Ultimately, you will oversee the management of a small, competent Event Operations team with objectives including evaluating current standards and practices and developing the operations team resource through recruitment and training.

You will also identify and establish relationships with quality venues worldwide and negotiate long-term partnerships. Additionally, you will be the Senior level contact with Sponsors (externally) and liaison with Sponsorship Sales management ( internally).

This integral role lies at the heart of the organisation.

It requires a leader with vision, initiative and energy to the commitment to delivering our stated purpose of providing an enriching professional experience for all those attending the events.

Asa senior management team member, you will report both to the board and the managing director.

The role includes an excellent salary and performance-based bonus scheme with share options.

Experience
-
Essential - A minimum of four years business to business events experience as a Senior or Head of Event Operations

Exceptional time management and prioritising skills
Experience in Senior leadership and managing teams
Strong organisational and communication skills
A willingness for high standards of service at all times
A strong cando approach to Event Operations with a management style to nurture and develop middle management and juniors.
