Rapid Link Transport are seeking a hands on Sales and Business Development Manager to generate new sales leads and creating new and profitable relationships, as well as identifying new growth opportunities within our existing customers.

Bring your sales experience and make an immediate impact on Rapid Link Transport sales growth, working closely with the Director, who will give you the autonomy you need and the hands-on support to be successful within our fast-moving and exciting team.

With household client names already using Rapid Link Transport, you'll have great case studies to help you gain customer trust and commitment.


Requirements:

You'll be ideal for us if you...

  • Have at least 3 years successful business to business direct selling experience, preferably in logistics sales
  • Can demonstrate a strong track record of exceeding volume targets, and be comfortable with monitoring and recording of sales activity
  • Have experience selling into senior and multistakeholder opportunities.
  • Love an upscale challenge and thrive in entrepreneurial environments.
  • Are a confident communicator speaking, writing, and listening
  • Are selfmotivated and able to balance competing priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Have flexibility to travel to the customer as required
  • Innovative selfstarter, who is credible, articulate, enthusiastic, motivated and flexible.

Your day to day includes:

  • Sourcing, qualifying and managing sales leads, into worthwhile prospects and longterm partnerships
  • Structuring and executing sales pitches to win solid and profitable new business
  • Identifying customer needs and providing practical solutions
  • Demonstrating to customers the competitive advantage of the Palletways Portal
  • Negotiating with both new and existing customers for mutual benefit.
  • Being the point of contact for customers at every stage of the salescycle.
  • Contributing to shaping Rapid Link Transport solutions by communicating key market requirements into the business
