This is an exciting opportunity to join Enigma Security Solutions Ltd as a
Corporate Security Officer at one of our prestigious sites in
Bournemouth.

The site is located on a 34 acre land comprising of 5 buildings and 2 car parks.

The role


With this role we require someone with a strong desire to work in security with investigative instinct and an analytical mind-set.


Duties include:

Access Control: Manage access and exit. Correct use of barrier. Follow principles of pass and accreditation checking.

Reception: Be a highly visible and proactive security presence. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees. contact police and fire departments in cases of emergency.

Vigilance: Officers will sweep the area making badge checks, reporting any unattended bags or check on people waiting in the reception area.

Health and Safety: Adopt and implement the procedure directed by the Client or their Health and Safety Consultant.

Customer Service: Meet and greet staff and visitors and be the first point of contact for any issues. Ensure a positive customer experience for all visitors/customers.

Radios: Officers issued with radios daily to communicate with each other, supervisors and onsite control room.

Shift Handovers: Maintain high level of communication with each other when handing over and receiving responsibility for the assignment at the beginning and end of each shift.

Control Room: Officer will receive full training in monitoring CCTV and will be required to follow procedures and protocols in place.


Role requirements:


  • Must hold a valid SIA Frontline License.
  • 5 year checkable work/career history. All applicants will be vetted in line with industry standard BS7858

Desirable skills/experience:


  • Excellent communication skills
  • Operate with a high level of professionalism
  • First class approach to delivering a customer focused service
  • Effective report writing skills, for logging incidents in daily occurrence books
  • First aid certificate
  • H&S qualifications
  • Intermediate level PC Skills ( MS Office)
