Corporate Events Manager
Northamptonshire (Hybrid Role)
12 month Contract
Salary:
£40,000 plus bonus
Do you have experience of organizing corporate events and would like a contract to get your teeth into?
Do you have natural project & time management skills?
If so, this could be the right role for you.
The role is a maternity cover contract and will incorporate managing the event plan for 2023 and putting the plan together for 2024, events will include incentive trips, award dinners and regional events.
Roles and Responsibilities for the Events Manager include:
- Managing and developing working relationships with venues hotels
- Liaise with external suppliers and other internal teams to ensure these are delivered
- Sourcing venues, & entertainment for each event
- Managing and coordinating the design and distribution of invitations, seating plans & menus
- To be present and coordinate event prior to senior management/guest arrival, making sure that communication and execution is in line with the event brief
To be successful in the role of the Events Manager you must have:
- Previous event management experience
- Project & Time management skills
- Experience of working with venues/external suppliers
- Highly organised, with the ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Enthusiastic, proactive self
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident, assertive manner
- Strong customer focus
