An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading Chartered Independent Insurance Brokerage in Bradford, who have been a reputable name in the region for over 100 years.

They are looking for a Commercial SME Account Handler to join their recently established direct client team, and be responsible for the servicing and retention of an existing portfolio of clients.

Main duties will include:

Building strong relationships with clients to better understand their insurance needs
Handle premiums up to c£20,000
Working with a broad range of clients, including, Property Owners, Retailers, Manufacturers, Motor Traders, Fleets and Professions
Dealing with renewals and proactively ensuring a high retention level
Communicating with Underwriters on a daily basis and maintaining good relationships
Broking risks for new business and renewals
Refer any claims through to the dedicated team
Working closely with the Corporate Broking team
Using the Acturis system and a selection of EDI platforms on a daily basis
