About the role Balfour Beatty UKCS
has now created a new and exciting opportunity for a Site Agent
to join our Regional Civils
team based in Plymouth**.
Regional Civils undertake projects from East coast to West Coast, from the south coast to the borders of Scotland.

As a
Site Agent you will have overall responsibility for safety, quality, financial performance, programme adherence and client satisfaction, managing a team of engineers, foremen, quantity surveyors and/or subcontractors and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of the individual contract.
What you'll be doing
Some other key areas will include:
- Plan HSQE into work activities and ensure adequate resources are available to carry out the operations
- Ensure a project quality plan is developed and implemented.
- Ensure the cost plan is prepared and monitor cost vs value constantly.
- Produce and implement the Project Management Plan.
- Manage the procurement process including tender, negotiation, order.
- Lead the planning process.
- Determine resource levels for the contract in consultation with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager/Works Manager
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
- Civil Engineering qualification
- Experience within Highways & Civils
- Relevant industry experience at management level
