The StaffBank for Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust are seeking enthusiastic PP to join our pool of Staff Bank workers, there are many full time roles available but as they are ever-changing - the exact roles available will be provided once your Hiring & Recruitment is complete.

We can give you an idea of the type of roles available at the time of contact, but we cannot guarantee set roles as your hiring time may vary.

Depending on previous relevant experience & previous NHS experience, higher banding/rates can be discussed.


Main duties of the job:

IPM experience, previous NHS experience ideal. Good communication skills. Previous tracking experience.

Review of gynaecology patient cohort lists Scheduling theatre demand Scheduling clinic appointments and diagnostic tests Answering telephone queries Liaising with allocated Consultants/Nurses to ensure best service utilisation Cancellation of clinic activity for annual leaves etc.

Essential criteria:


  • To have at least 5 years previous experience in the Mechanical Engineering environment
  • To have completed a full recognised apprenticeship

Desirable criteria:


  • To have experience of working in Healthcare premises

Knowledge and Skills:


Essential criteria:


  • To have the ability and knowledge to do multiskilled work in both mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines
  • To have specialist knowledge of steam utilisation
  • To be able to read and understand complex technical drawings

Desirable criteria:


  • To have specialist knowledge of sterilisers or disinfector washers
