Birchrose Associates have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Paralegal to join a Legal 500 recognised firm in their Norwich office

The Firm

The firm are a full service, top 50 UK law firm in East Anglia, Essex, London and the surrounding areas.

The firm have earned an excellent reputation for their high-quality service and a track record advising businesses, institutions and individuals in theUK and internationally.

The firm's Commercial Property team are particularly experienced in dealing with development and investment, planning, secured lending and landlord and tenant matters.

They handle a wide range of high quality commercial real estate work, much of which iscomplex, high value and high profile.

The Role

The role will sit within the firm's growing Commercial Property team based in their Norwich office, located near the City centre.

The team are now looking for a Paralegal to provide support and potentially manage their own caseload across mixed Commercial Property matters.

This may include supporting fee-earners on working with high profile clients across Retail, House building, PublicSector (including Local Authority, Health and Education), Charities etc.

Duties of the role may included but are not restricted to the following:

To provide full support to fee earners in the full range of activities that are performed and to carry out any other duties as reasonably requested.
To prepare correspondence and requests for due diligence information following receipt of instructions from the client
Liaising with fee earners and clients in respect of Commercial Property Standard Enquires and additional enquiries
Updating the client on progress when required
To proof read all work, checking for spelling and grammar
Make use of the firm's chosen legal technology to ensue that documents are prepared to the highest standard

About You

The firm are looking for the following:

Legal experience in Commercial Property is essential
A Law degree or equivalent is welcome but not essential
Excellent computer/technical skills in particular working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Strong written and oral communication skills
Commitment to ongoing learning and development.
