Facilitating office organisation by performing administrative duties and acting as a front of house for the department and you will support the Education Business Manager with all aspects of running and maintaining the Education Centre.


As the first point of contact for the department, you will be supporting the many visitors from both within and external to the organisation.

Providing a professional, friendly and responsive welcome to all using the Education Centre services.


As the Administrator you will work collaboratively and under direct or indirect supervision of a senior member of the team.

The work and support you give to the department will be of a high quality and you will recognise your abilities, limitations and seek opportunities for development and working towards a relevant and suitable qualification as an apprenticeship.


As a vital member of the team, you will support all staff, act in the best interest of your colleagues and as a Trust employee you will honour your work commitments, be reliable, trustworthy and uphold the values and beliefs of the Trust.


  • Welcome visitors into the department
  • Deal with enquiries in an efficient, helpful and courteous manner, escalating any complex queries to the supervisor as necessary to ensure a prompt resolution
  • Ensure telephone calls are answered promptly and all enquiries dealt with effectively
  • Provide comprehensive support by taking messages and using the department technology
  • Communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with the senior management team, keeping them informed of any changes relevant to the department
  • Provide support to Education Business Manager with running the centre, ensuring the centre is clean and tidy, rooms are appropriately kitted out with supplies and provisions and fit for purpose each day
  • Responsible for the accurate booking of the education training rooms
  • Ensure all electronic records are up to date
  • Prepare and set up training rooms, including IT & AV systems for department activities and meetings. Ensure each room is tidied and ready for each new booking throughout the day and week.
  • Distributing incoming post
  • Collating stationery order and other supplies each week
  • Participating in office meetings and taking meeting minutes/notes where needed
