TPP is recruiting a Head of Data who will not only lead, inspire and motivate the data team, but also use their strong communication and influencing skills to bring the whole organisation along on the journey.

The Role:
As the Head of Data, you will lead a high-performing team, shape the future of data management, and drive impact.
You will also plan and develop an effective and adaptable database and data structure fit for the future as well as embed wider standards of best practice across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of a 3year CRM strategy, working closely with the senior leadership team and strategic board to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Data Team Leadership: Build and lead a highperforming data team, fostering a culture of excellence and effective database use.
- Data Architecture: Define and implement an effective data architecture and infrastructure, collaborating with technical and systems experts to optimise data management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with heads of income generating functions, digital, and IT teams to ensure a strategic and integrated use of the database across the organisation.
- Data Optimisation: Support the team in delivering highpriority data projects, assess longterm database requirements, and drive continuous improvement in data management and analysis.
- Team Development: Encourage the evolution and development of the data team.
- Database Security: Implement a clear approach to database security, disaster recovery, upgrades, and quality, managing risk effectively.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in leading and developing database teams, including strategy development.
- Expertise in training, with a focus on database training.
- Experience in business analysis, change, and technical projects.
- Experience in complex project management, delivering on time, scope, and budget.
- Strong relationshipbuilding skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Understanding of Agile and other project/time management methodologies.
- Technical skills in SQL, C#, data warehousing, and SSIS.
- Strong understanding of the charity fundraising data environment.
- Practical experience with database systems, ideally Blackbaud CRM or Raiser's Edge 7.
