We are rapidly scaling up our operations to pioneer the design, development, and manufacturing of batteries for electric vehicles (EVs) at our state-of-the-art gigafactory in the UK.

Indirect Buyer - Capital Goods

As a Buyer for Raw Material Procurement, you will be responsible for the procurement of significant equipment, machinery, and capital assets essential for our organization's operations and strategic growth.

Role's responsibilities will encompass the entire procurement lifecycle, from identifying sourcing opportunities and negotiating terms to ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Search for possible suppliers, mainly for Domestic and Imported Capital Goods ( Machines, Equipment & Utilities).
Supporting in the release of Purchase orders, payment processing ( L/C, request etc.).
Nominating freight forwarder
Pursuing with the suppliers for delivery as per project schedule.
Arranging Customs Clearance through CHA
Arranging installation & Commissioning of the Capital Goods.

Qualifications & Experience:

Hands on experience in material purchase.
Significant experience in Procurement (Raw materials and minerals etc will be preferred).
Strong analytical and data skills.
Strategic thinker with strong execution skills.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers
