About Us:

Situated in North Worcestershire, Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council share services.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide frontline ICT support to Council members, assisting with hardware, software, and networkrelated issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain ICT equipment, including computers, tablets, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues promptly and escalate complex problems to the appropriate support teams when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the ICT team to implement technology solutions and upgrades to meet the needs of Council members and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and security policies, safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Proven experience in providing technical support in an ICT environment, preferably in a public sector setting.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, Windows Server), office productivity software (Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams), and mobile devices (iOS and Android).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Customerfocused approach and a commitment to delivering highquality ICT support services.
