CB Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an Environmental Consultant on behalf of our Client based in London.


Hours of Work
Monday - Friday


Salary
£30,000 - £32,000 DOE


To assist in helping clients to develop new waste resource and management facilities that have the flexibility to maintain full regulatory compliance.

Complete risk assessments and deliver solutions to transform clients current waste and recycling polices, practices and procedures.

The role and responsibilities will be flexible and dependent on the experience, but could be expected to include the following:

  • This role will primarily involve undertaking street cleanliness survey services which we provide to clients in the public and private sectors. These surveys consist of assessing levels of Litter, Detritus, Graffiti and Fly-posting, to assist councils in improving their street cleaning services and ensuring they are efficient and good value for money; and

Based predominately either within the office or remotely, there will be occasion you will be located at a clients site to over see the project implementation.


Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for managing your own schedule to ensure that work is completed to deadlines and is of good quality;
  • Clear and concise communication with colleagues and clients is paramount.
  • Verbal and written communication must be professional, documented and shared with relevant personnel and is stored correctly to ensure accessibility by all relevant parties.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed on time and updates provided.
  • Assist colleagues as and when the need arises.
  • Adheres to the company and clients Health & Safety policies at all times.
  • Must have a willingness to undertake additional courses/qualifications as an when required to maintain up to date knowledge of the industry.

Qualifications/Skills
An environmental Degree or similar.


Personal Qualities needed include:


  • Must hold a full Driving Licence and be willing to travel.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and individually.
  • A proactive, flexible attitude and the ability to work under your own initiative
  • Able to use technical equipment on the field with minimum supervision;
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational skills in order to prioritise workload.
