Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for a Junior Logistics Operator to join their office in London.

You will play an important role in the running of our day to day business, taking on responsibilities, working coherently with the existing team and supporting the Logistics Manager and Supervisor to ensure our business runs as efficiently and smoothly as possible.

Ideally you should have experience in the container transport or container shipping field.

Key Requirements

Experience / knowledge of container transport in the UK.
Able to work as part of a team or on their own initiative.
Eager to learn new things
Be quick thinking and able to trouble shoot and resolve problems independently.
Strong attention to detail, and high levels of accuracy when working and reporting.
Excellent all round communication skills.
Knowledge and understanding of AP/AR invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

To assist the Supervisor and team in the day to day transport operations, in all duties that this entails to ensure our client receives an exemplary service
Communication with internal clients both in UK branches.
Accurate recording and monitoring of all information as is required.
